Catapult
Make your iPhone's Home Screen work like Android's.
Catapult swaps the iOS Home Screen for Trebuchet, the one from LineageOS. Everything else stays iOS, and apps still open with Apple's own animation.
Add the repo, then search Catapult. Free.

How it works
Install it, and your Home Screen is Trebuchet. Four things to know.
Opens the app drawer: every app from A to Z. Drag the bar on the side to jump to a letter.
Gives you Wallpaper & style (icon shapes and grid size), Widgets and Home settings.
Shows its shortcuts, like New Message or Search, plus App info and Remove. Drag it to move it, onto another app to make a folder, or to Uninstall.
Finds apps, and answers sums and unit conversions. Anything else searches the web in the browser you pick.

Questions
Something broke. How do I get my normal Home Screen back?
If your iPhone's Home Screen keeps crashing right after it starts (5 times in a row), Catapult switches itself off and the normal one comes back. A normal respring doesn't count. You can also uninstall Catapult from Sileo.
Where are the settings?
Long-press an empty spot on the Home Screen and pick Home settings. Icon shapes and grid size are under Wallpaper & style.
Is it in my language?
Catapult follows your iPhone's language. LineageOS's own text comes in 96 languages, and everything Catapult added in 27, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Arabic and Hebrew are translated, but the layout doesn't flip right to left yet. If a line reads wrong, tell me.
Can I put iOS widgets on it?
No, iOS doesn't let them live outside its own Home Screen. Catapult has its own Clock, Weather, Now Playing and Batteries widgets instead.
What about Today View, Spotlight pull-down and the App Library?
They're the parts of the iOS Home Screen that Catapult replaces: the app drawer and its search do their job. Control Center, notifications and the app switcher are untouched.
I use FrostBoard, SnowBoard or Anemone.
Keep using them. Catapult still themes its own icons, and leaves theming the rest of iOS to your engine.
Bold text in my font looks regular.
Put the font's Bold (and Medium) file in the same folder as the one you picked. Catapult uses them for bold text. A font with only one weight stays at that weight.
Does it slow my phone down?
It's tuned to keep scrolling, page swipes and app launches smooth, even on an iPhone 7. The across-iOS icon and font options only load when you switch them on.
I had MakrSas's Trebuchet installed.
Installing Catapult replaces it. Your layout and settings carry over.
Is it free? Is it open source?
Free. Catapult is built on MakrSas's open-source Trebuchet port (Apache 2.0). Catapult's own code isn't published, but every licence and notice ships with it.
